Course Objectives

The course will cover the basics of infertility including investigations for male and female infertility, Semen analysis, Semen preparation techniques for IUI, Follicular Growth scanning, Stimulation Protocols, and Ovulation Induction for IUI as well as Insemination techniques.

This is a comprehensive course that involves basic endocrinology sciences, stimulation protocols for IUI, detailed use of stimulation drugs, and setup of IUI laboratory and semen processing. The trainees will be given observation and training on follicular scans, semen processing, IUI, and patient counseling. This is targeted at clinicians who would want to venture into reproductive medicine.

Eligibility
  • Doctors specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology MD/MS/DGO.
  • Physicians interested in performing OI (Ovulation Induction) & IUI (Intra Uterine Insemination) procedures using stimulation with gonadotropins.
  • Clinicians interested in gaining knowledge in transvaginal ultrasound for follicular tracking.
