PCOS (Poly cystic Ovarian Syndrome) is the most common hormonal condition amongst at least 1 out of 10 women of reproductive age. PCOS is an endocrine system disorder that can be difficult to diagnose at times, and is common for women who are within the reproductive age. PCOS causes lack of ovulation or irregular ovulation and women affected sometimes have enlarged ovaries containing collection of fluids. • Excess insulin may also cause high androgen levels.
